We came due to purchasing the fukui fun pass, which allowed us to get the soba coupon and the 1000 yen happiring coupon. Experience: A decent albeit limited variety of restaurants serving local specialties, including oroshi soba. There were stores selling omiyage too, with a popup Pokémon store at the time of visit. Hits: We liked the food from amida soba and gaburi chicken. Miss: slightly small variety of shopping. Tips: do note that you can only utilize the fun pass 3 "times", with the 300yenx4 soba coupon and 1000 yen coupon redemption considered 1 "time" each. If you're planning to visit attractions using the fun pass, we recommend maximising the value by redeeming the 1 day echizen rail ticket (1700 yen worth), followed by the aquarium (1500 yen worth), before considering the mall coupons, and the soba coupons only if you're ok with eating soba 3-4 times.
