My go-to breakfast/donut shop in town. The only reason I give 4 stars is only because I am a fan of pigs without cheese and they are out of them semi-often. Highly recommend visiting or buying with your preferred food delivery app that has them as an option! Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5

Got a pig this morning notice that majority of it had no breading surrounding the sausage. Not sure if the baking was messed up but i wish there was more breading. My husband got the donut holes that were filled and said they were good. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Order type: Takeaway Price per person: $1–10

To be very clear, this review is focused on one true goal: The Hunt for the REAL Chocolate Donut. Location: Good. Cleanliness: Good. Design: Good. Drive Thru: Good. Friendliness: Excellent In that regard, this establishment held true to a previous reviewer advising “the best dough and chocolate around”. To date we have traveled far and wide and tried many different donut places before finally realizing that nearly every donut shop we’ve set foot in had some off the wall chocolate flavors and none of them actually tasted anything like chocolate. Garlicky-plastic-fake-ICK atrocities! Anywho, I’m happy to report that as far as ETX is concerned, Happy Donuts houses the best chocolate donut my wife and I have found so far. I will not be venturing to a Fancy Boujee Bake Shop that fluffs up a chocolate beignet for $20 either. I want a solid donut shop that DELIVERS on the promise of good kolaches and even better donuts, especially, the REAL chocolate donut. For that, I will happily give Happy Donuts a 7.2 and would highly recommend their glazed and chocolate donuts as being some of the best Donuts in ETX. Raspberry filled wasn’t tart enough for us. Kolaches were in the middle of the flaky buttery style and the harder shell breading. I personally liked them a lot, but my wife preferred ETX Donut’s kolaches. It’s okay- we can agree to disagree.
