Harpoon Henry’s will be officially closing January 25. We will miss this place which has a lot of memories for many people for decades. Children, friends, and travelers from all around have come visit and enjoyed a delicious meals, drinks and entertainment. We truly relate to say thank you to Bob Mardian Jr. And the Management team along with the terrific employees through all these years. To come down and say goodbye and have a toast to one of Dana Points restaurants. I recently visited Harpoon Henry's Seafood Restaurant and had a disappointing experience. We ordered the Grilled Salmon, which was listed on the menu for $14.00. However, we were charged $36.00! When we brought it to the attention of the staff, they called the manager, who insisted that they had changed the online menu price. But when we showed them the menu on our phone, it still showed $14.00. To make matters worse, they didn't even serve us the correct dish! We ordered Grilled Salmon, but they sent Alaskan Salmon instead, without asking us or informing us of the change. The manager's response was unhelpful and unsatisfactory. We felt misled and overcharged. I hope the restaurant takes responsibility for their mistakes and makes necessary changes to their menu and service. It appears that you misread the menu - The $14.00 price is for a small portion of grilled salmon as a topping to add to one of our salads. The menu price for a complete dinner/lunch grilled salmon was/is $36.00.
