When all quests had arrived we order from the menu 7 from the normal menu the set menu, we ordered 2 from the 3 course 1 for 2 course, mushrooms steak and a burger, 1st issue no blue cheese sauce, 2 issue was no treacle sponge so we moved the menu down to three two course meals then we had the poor waiter come back and tell us that there was only one portion of mushrooms so we let my brother have them and my sister and I changed to the steaks on the main menu. When the mushrooms turned up at the table it was the bits (dregs) from the end of the packet. after waiting a considerable time the mains arrived 4 meals out of the 10 were cold Steaks so tough on two of them they could not cut them. The other six the chips where cold the rest of the meal was OK my mum's meal who had a child's portion of chicken and chips the chicken was very dry. I called the waiter over and told him he apologised and we waited for a manager to come over. Eventually I went to the bar and found two member of staff chatting in a corner. One came over and asked people about the meals and said she would remove the stakes and burger off the bill. What should have been a 65 birthday of fun I ended up with no food a disappointed family and very upsetting 65th birthday. I must also point out that not enough staff were working the place was not that busy plenty of table to be had, but no quality control of the food.
