Great live music and atmosphere. Food was good but not excellent. Good cocktails too. It's nice for a festive gathering.

What a treat! We went early and had a drink in the lounge, and Rochelle made me a special drink that was to die for! We then moved in to the dining room, and I have to say, it was the best meal I have had in a long time. I ordered the blackened cod with mushrooms in Meyer lemon, and everything was cooked to perfection. The fish melted in my mouth, and I couldn't get enough of the mushrooms! Both Rochelle and Irish were a pleasure. We will definitely be back!

Off the beaten path gem! So looking on open table for a nice dinner with something other than what appears to be the norm in this area of bar food, this place popped up and had open reservations so we booked it. First impression upon walking in was quiet, elegant and intimate. Also it was wonderful to see that they get it that when you dine you want to dine with the one you are with and not have tables so crowded around you that it feels communal. The wine list is interesting with some options for just about anyone. I went with the Tempranillo which was quite nice. The "suggested" cocktail list is a bit dull as anyone can think of a Cesar or a cosmopolitan, but I suspect looking at the shelves it does appear they can make other crafty cocktails. The menu has wonderful unique options to chose from which made it difficult to chose. We decided upon trying some of the tapas offerings. First was the chicken lollipops and polenta. The chicken was quite nice and crispy with a tart Saskatoon berry sauce which really went quite nice with the chicken. The polenta was AMAZING!! If you have never had polenta, you must try theirs. It's crisp on the outside, but nice and soft on the inside with savory flavors. Next we tried the roasted cauliflower and chicken empanadas. The cauliflower was just a tad cold which I'm not sure if that is how it's supposed to be served, but with the garlic aioli it was quite flavorful. So nice to have a cauliflower dish that is not fried and had thought put into how to enhance the flavor of this wonderful vegetable. Empanadas. Good thing this was the last order we made because I'm telling you I would have ordered two more plates of this as they were so incredibly delicious. Red peppers and baked pastry just right. So yes we splurged and did a dessert. The chocolate raspberry tart. So sure you think heavy chocolate and raspberries on the top. Wrong! Think light and fluffy chocolate. Think rich chocolate flavors that compete with the beloved Bernard callebeaut. Wait! I'm not finished! There is just one single raspberry on top. You're thinking seriously just one small berry on a tart named chocolate raspberry tart? Well here is where this proves the chef is a genius. How many folks love the flavor of raspberry but hate the crunch of these little seeds?! So the genius behind this dish dries the raspberries and makes a dust out of it that lightly layers the tart. Ingenious ! This is a must have despite feeling full after a wonderful and unique dinner. Obviously the chef has taken an interest in trying to give the patrons a wonderful experience and takes pride in finding flavors that pair well and presentation that makes you hate to disrupt the art with your fork. The last thing I want to mention is the pricing. It's fine dining, the atmosphere is quiet and upscale and the service is top notch. When you see the prices on the menu you will think something is not right. They are very reasonable for the entire experience you get here at the Headquarters Restaurant . I definitely recommend them as you will not be disappointed. Thank you to all staff for a lovely experience.
