Had 2 small cappuccinos. Was served on a spotty wooden tray, without sugar, milk, cookie or a spoon. The banana bread was supposed to be with jam but it was with sugar water. The furnishings were sober with wooden fantasy statues. We sat by the window and it was freezing, not pleasant. There was no menu on the table so we couldn't choose anything, so I walked forward to look at the pastries. So no prices were announced and no receipt appeared. At the cash register I had to pay 12 euros, I could choose (at least) from different buttons whether and how much tip I wanted to give. All in all, an economical, not pleasant service and a cold location, really not recommended. We had a lovely lunch at Livingstone bij de Poort! The food was delicious, and the ambiance was charming and cozy. The staff were friendly and attentive, which added to our overall positive experience. The service was excellent, and we left feeling completely satisfied. We are looking forward to returning to Livingstone bij de Poort for another delightful meal. A big thank you to the staff for their outstanding service and for making our lunch so enjoyable. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in search of a fantastic dining experience!
