I’ve been coming here for years, but the last few visits were awful. Today, I ordered hot dogs and a drink—overpriced and cold, both the hot dogs and the buns. Worse, the staff member was eating while taking my order. Completely unacceptable. I won’t be back. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5

I should have trusted the reviews, hotndogs were cold and mid. The Monday deal, is NOT a deal!! Fries were reheated after being cooked once. Oil needs to be changed. Over 9.00 for 2 hot dogs that were priced at 1.95 each. The crappy fries were 4.00. I won't be coming back here and I am pretty surprised they can stay in buisness Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Heffy's Hot Dogs is not to be missed. The fresh cut fries will have you coming back time and time again. Old school gyros from the spit and they don't skimp on the portion sizes. If you're looking for a great Chicago dog but don't want to drive to Gene and Jude's, then make a stop at Heffy's.

Hi Jim, I am sorry for my delay in saying thank you. Thank you for your awesome review. It means a lot to me and the Heffys staff. There's nothing better than putting a smile on someones face. We look forward to seeing you again soon Robin
