What a wonderful find! We weren't familiar with Heidi's when they were by the beach. Looking for a birthday dinner couldn't resist trying Heidi's out. Spectacular! I can be a German food snob - but this really equals the finest German Restaurant we prefer in New York! Authentic Schwabisch and Bavarian classics, an excellent ambience provide by Heidi and her wait and bus staff, and outstanding entree, sides, and the real German beers on tap. Heidi and Axel truly provide great German food with a care and attention to traditional details that made this an instant "come back every chance we get" type place! The food is excellent.. Reminds my wife of home when her mother made family German recipes. NonGerman food in my.home growing up, but great flavors. Several less than traditional German dishes available. Only two pages to the menu, so they know what they are and they are not serving out of the freezer. Service was disjointed during this visit, so we will definitely be going back to sample more of their cooking and see if the service was just off tonight. Desert was very good. Blacknforest cake was tasty but a bit on the dry side, German cheesecake was excellent. We need tontry more of their homemade Deserts.

This was our first time trying Heidi's German Restaurant! We were thrilled when our server came over and introduced herself- Heidi served us! She was so pleasant!!! The ambiance is very similar to what you see in German restaurants in popular cities such as Munich, Cologne, etc. The beer (German beers on tap) and along with the lightly sweet tasting reisling wine I chose (I love sweet wine) were the best! The food was absolutely delicious!!! We started with a small pretzel that was warm and outstanding! Our side salads tasted so fresh! Our schnitzel was plentiful, hot, and excellent, as were our two sides. This was a great find for us! We will return soon! Thanks Heidi!
