My husband and I celebrated our birthdays at Hemlock recently. It was absolutely amazing! We also really appreciated that they don't use seed oils — even after a big dinner, we still *felt* good because it was all made with quality ingredients. All of our food was extremely delicious, and I would order all of it again. We got: - steak (one of the Wagyu options, can't remember which) - table-side baked potato (with alllll of the butters and fixings) - corn creme brulee - mushroom bisque (ask for a little extra truffle oil with it because you'll want more as you eat!) We aren't dessert people so we didn't try any, but we ordered three cocktails between us and all of them were amazing also. I think we got the Hemlock, the Sage Grouse, and then the Tamarack for after dinner. You'll spend plenty here, but it was well worth it for the whole experience and the incredible food. I'm not easy to impress with food, but I thought about this meal for days after. I'd happily go back and order all of it again! Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This was one of the best meals we’ve ever had, and we come from Seattle so that’s saying something! Everything from the custom menus to the knowledgeable and gracious staff, to the carefully curated plating was so intentional and appreciated. Our waiter was incredibly professional as was the “potato princess” who stole the show! We felt cared for and spoiled as we celebrated a special occasion and though it was incredibly expensive (my only feedback is that the pricing for the steak flight was not at all transparent) it was an experience and meal we will never forget! Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Atmosphere: 5

5 STARS!! The Hemlock Boise completely blew us away! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant and full of energy! Perfect for a fun night out or a special dinner. Now let’s talk about the food… WOW. The steaks were cooked to absolute perfection juicy, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious! Their cocktails were top-tier too! Creative, well-balanced, and the kind you remember long after the night is over. But the real showstopper? The tableside baked potato. Yes, you read that right. A tableside experience that somehow made a baked potato unforgettable crispy skin, buttery insides, and all the toppings done just the way you like it. SO. GOOD. The service was just as impressive as the food! Incredibly friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell they care about the details and making your night great.
