We had the lunch special which was creamy lobster money. At $40 it was great value and very tasty. We also had the seafood tasting plate. Nice and fresh too. All the meals coming out of the kitchen looked great. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $100–120

Highly recommend the beautiful food at the Henry Rous Tavern. Really delicious generous portions made with fresh local ingredients. The lamb shank is to die for….seriously good and huge! Wow, we were blown away with the quality and service. Flavours are sensational and perfectly seasoned. Had the beef burger and it was packed with bacon and wagu beef and crispy fresh lettuce tomato gourmet cheese and just the right amount of sauce and onions and beetroot. Steaks were also tender and sensational. Every now and then you come across a real gem of a pub with homemade down to earth honest pub grub….and this it is. Kudos to the chefs and staff. Great night out. 5 stars from us. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $20–40

Held our Croquet Club Christmas Party here today. Fantastic food great value amazing staff. Highly recommend Henry Rous as a venue
