Absolutely LOVE this place and my wife and I try to stop in as often as we can! The over all look, feel and atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect to find in a rural Northern Nevada ag town and the owners are awesome! I don't know if there's ever been a time when the place wasn't packed, especially the bar but then, there's a reason for it - it's TONS of FUN, full of life and maybe most importantly, Brandi makes one of the BEST picon punches you can get anywhere, bar none. And believe me, my wife and I have sampled picon punches all across Nevada and speak from experience here. In fact, while Brandi came in 2nd at the inaugural 2026 Picon Makers Contest at the Nevada State Fair, she did take the top spot for the people choice award. Of course, drinks aside, the food here is the bomb especially if you like a good steak or something a bit bolder like Paella. But, be sure to come hungry as the portions are HUGE! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $40–50 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot Parking: Be sure to order a Picon Punch as it is the official Nevada State Drink and Brandi makes the best! Kid-friendliness: While there is a very lively bar filled with tons of people on more nights than not, the restaurant half is always filled with families and plenty of kids.

The Heyday Inn has been a family favorite for years! We went for Mother’s Day this year, the owner was in there serving-bartending-and kindly handling unruly patrons with highly unnecessary demands (humans these days), all while it was her day to be honored as a mother. The food was fantastic, my mother and mother-in-law had a wonderful time! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
