I am not sure if it was a fluke or this is as good as it would ever shall be, but I found it quite underwhelming and well, for a lack of a better phrase, bland as can be! This proved to be one of those cases where the good reviews don't equate reality! Yes, the pieces are chonky, but that alone does not suffice, eh? Flavour is also important; I found none in the four pieces I had ordered! And even if it was 4-piece with fries and a drink, they said it wouldn't come with wings or breast, which was highly irregular! Ergo, i requested for two breasts (dollar each) and one each of included drumstick and thigh. Breasts aren't spicy, they said, but upon requesting, he said he would sprinkle their spice mix (or did he, I don't know because I felt nothing and I don't even have cold to lose sense of my taste buds). Even the included spicy drummie and thigh were bland (couldn't feel any difference betwixt the two). Mary Brown's is the best! Even their regular chicken has more flavour than this overrated one; her spicy IS fried chimkken purrfection, NOT THIS, NOT ONE IOTA! Save your money and support the national treasure for fried chimkken, Canada's own, Mary Brown's! Even her fries is top-notch! If you have tartar sauce, wicked combination that is! I hate leaving negative reviews but money is money, so I hope this review would deter others from spending (or more aptly, wasting) theirs here; as in those who haven't tried them before but seeing fried chicken, and the plethora of good reviews (Lord even knows where they are coming from and for what) went in as Hansel and Gretel strolled into the ol' witch's cottage (at least those two got to burn the old hag). This shall be my first and last visit; I do not recommend this place to anybody, especially to those who love, nay, adore (Dame) Mary Brown's chimkken!

This Hi Five Chicken is hands down the best I’ve ever had. The server, James, is an absolute legend—top-tier service and super thoughtful. That hot dip he makes? It’s a total game changer, goes well with literally everything. You gotta eat the fried chicken fresh right out of the fryer, eh? That’s why I never do delivery. Hi Five Chicken is hands down the best I’ve ever had. The server, James, is an absolute legend — top-tier service and genuinely thoughtful. That hot dip he makes is a total game changer and goes perfectly with everything. You have to eat the fried chicken fresh, straight out of the fryer — that’s why I never order delivery. Had an amazing time meeting James tonight, such a great vibe!
