– Still One of My All-Time Favorites, Even After 10+ Years I’ve been going to Hibachi Express in Americus, Georgia on and off for over 10 years, and even though I live in Atlanta now, it’s still in my top five. That should tell you something! The food has always been consistently flavorful—whether I’m getting the chicken, steak, or shrimp combo, it’s cooked just right every time. The fried rice hits, the veggies are always sautéed perfectly, and that signature white sauce? Still addictive. I did notice that the portions are a little smaller than they used to be back in the day, but the quality has never slipped. And honestly, the flavor makes up for it. You can tell they still put care into each plate. Every time I’m in Americus, Georgia, I make a point to stop by. It’s one of those hometown spots that just never lost its charm, and I’ve yet to find a hibachi spot in Atlanta that gives me that same satisfaction. If you know, you know.
