Lovely quaint bakery right at the beginning of Mars Hills Main St. We had delicious pastries for breakfast which included a blueberry nectarine tart and a cinnamon roll. They also serve drip coffee. Other customers were coming in for their loaves of sourdough bread (at a great price). Friendly owners. Some seating, we sat in the window seats and enjoyed the traffic on Main. Give them a try. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Price per person: $1–10

If you aren't a vegan and you live in Mars Hill, High Ridge Bakery is the place for you. Unreal, rich, thick cinnamony cinnamon buns with grainy sugar and a satisfying dough, not undercooked or overcooked. The foccacia is unbelievably light and savory, and the cheddar biscuit is dense without losing flavor. The owners are friendly and kind. While I don't live in Mars Hill, and I prefer to eat vegan, this bakery has got it going on. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
