We had the ultimate dining experience here. Me and my girlfriend came we do not speak Japanese and the staff does not speak English. It was only us two and the chef and a server. Even with the language barrier, we were served the most fresh sashimi and sushi and tempura and oysters, which were all incredibly delicious, prepared right in front of us. Some reviews here comment on how the staff doesn’t speak English, and I think that can scare away some customers, but do not be afraid of that at all. Really impressed! We ordered the eel—it was fresh and took about 20–30 minutes to cook. The sashimi varieties depends on the season, but it was fresh and delicious. The staff were welcoming and although they don’t speak fluent English, they genuinely try their best to communicate. Great experience overall! Don’t understand why people underrated. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
