I always get the Udon House Special and it's SO good, I remove the chicken because it's a little dry in my opinion but the shrimp and steak are so good. Egg rolls are yummy, crab rangoons are crispy on the outside and STUFFED with the cream on the inside and they're sooo good. Ordering can sometimes be a struggle with the language barrier so I may just write a note of my favorite order for them lol. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Rolled in from a track meet and decided to try here. For context it’s me (36) and my 3 sons (14,13,11) the goal here was to expose them to Japanese foods. We ordered 2 plates of chicken, broccoli and shrimp, one with plain rice, one with fried rice. I can eat zucchini, mushrooms and carrots but didn’t want to overload them on new things. I got an order of gyoza, 6 cucumber rolls, and 4 egg rolls. It came with a white sauce and a black vinegar dipping sauce I want to say that was for the gyoza (dumplings). I personally enjoyed every bite of what I had. The food was hot, the rice was steamy, the egg rolls were good. I used the 2 plates and gave each child 1 of each piece to try things. They weren’t a fan of the gyoza which is fine, the cucumber rolls, broccoli, shrimp, chicken, and rice of both sorts they all enjoyed. The white sauce or yum yum sauce gets a 10/10. I can eat the eggrolls plain but dipped in the sauce made it even better. I took some white sauce home but dropped it when I got out the car . All in all I give it a 10/10 with 0 complaints. I got the family vibe when I came in and loved that. I will say and I know it’s not by design but we came in at 8:15 and it was so peaceful to eat in peace. The sounds of cookware clanking echoed in the kitchen and i knew it was going to be good. We got exactly what we wanted when we ordered it and any odd requests in the order were granted. Food was overall bad. The chicken and steak were very dry, which was a bit disappointing. The shrimp, though, was actually pretty decent and probably the highlight of the meal. The rice had a kind of unusual green tea flavor that I wasn’t really expecting, just was unusual. The sushi was okay—definitely not the best I’ve had, but also far from the worst. It felt pretty standard. Not to mention the crab rangoons were weird tasting and very sweet. Service was good, the ladies were definitely helpful and nice! The price was kinda mid but would never pay that price for the food quality again. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
