Ordered 30 bagels for an event and everyone devoured them! Best bagels I've had in Sacramento. We lived within the delivery zone, and delivery was seamless. Definitely will be ordering again!

Have been in search of a decent bagel in Sacramento ever since NY Bagel Boys closed some years ago. I had high hopes for Solomon's but their heart's not in it. My most recent late afternoon request for half a dozen bagels was rebuffed with "we're saving those for sandwich orders". So once again I went searching online, and landed on Homespun Bagels. Luckily I live within their delivery zone...with a little leeway. I placed my order a week in advance for delivery today. I decided to try a little bit of everything: Plain, Everything, EBTS, Cinnamon Raisin and Cranberry Walnut. They were delivered to my door a few minutes after 9 am this morning. I was ready and waiting with the cream cheese. I started with half of an EBTS, followed by half of a Cranberry Walnut. Simply DELICIOUS! Flavor and texture are spot on. I know that Deborah uses sourdough starter for leavening but its flavor is very subtle here. More importantly, these bagels deliver the classic "chew" without being hard, tough or overly dense. I've distributed half my order amongst family and friends, and am waiting for their feedback, too. For the price, including delivery, these bagels can't be beat in the heart of Sacramento. I'm definitely a new convert!
