Over the lasts few months, I have gone to homestyle creamery countless times to brings treats home to my kids. Just recently my daughter has become the age where she should start making her own money, a couple of weeks ago I took what may be my last trip to this business, I asked the employee questions about how the creamery is run there in hopes to find some things to say to my daughter to encourage her to apply, the employee seemed very knowledgeable and after hearing some good about the place I asked the employee if they minded me asking how much they earn hourly and I was appalled to learn that they only make $10 an hour, After receiving what will be my last vegan ice cream from this establishment I tipped the employee very well for the work they do as I too had the same job when I was younger and after countless times seeing the long lines with only one person working I know these underpaid workers work very hard.I WILL NOT BE ENCOURAGING MY DAUGHTER TO WORK HERE AND I WILL NO LONGER RECOMMEND FRIENDS TO GET ICE CREAM FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT.
