There was a strong bitter taste in the sushi, we told the manager about it, he replied that the raw material used is all fresh and we most probably we are mistaken. Therefore I had to empty my sushi content to find out the source of the bitter taste by my self .
Few minutes later the manager visited our table again to tell us that the avocado was the reason of the bitter taste and he did nothing about it :)
My 4/5 rating is purely based on sushi taste and quality, those are (to me) the only 2 things that made me enjoy my experience and which would make me probably recommend the place for those who want to spend the extra $.
The items we had were all delicious, none was even average, the taste was amazing and the presentation was mouthwatering.
The portion size is average, pieces are not too large, but the proportion of ingredients inside every bite is just perfect.
A big plus for them is the detachable side paper on which you mark your orders, it comes as part of the sous-plats, very nice twist to the typical paper.
Prices are expensive, that compared to other sushi restaurants in the north, the average price of 4 pieces matches that you would pay on sushi in beirut.
Gold benefits apply, but have lots of restrictions, you have to order a minimum of 4 orders (no matter if the order is 4 uramakis or a 20 000 LL platter) and they do not ommit the dish of same value (even if 3 out of your 4 orders are of same value), only the second most expensive in price.
Service was not up to expectations, we were not assisted properly when it comes to making choices and gold benefits.
