The best thing about the hotel is the amazing breakfast!! The selection of coffees and teas is very large and is brought to the table, as is the option of individual egg dishes. All wishes are fulfilled here and are therefore particularly noteworthy. The atmosphere in the breakfast room is also very pleasant; There are some works of art to admire and the service at the table means there is not much back and forth between the guests (except at the buffet). The painting on the facade as well as in the stairwell is beautiful! The bike shed and the possibility of charging e-bikes were also great. Very valuable, especially in bad weather. The 12.50 euros for the parking space are absolutely worth it here. The hotel and the rooms are getting a bit old and what was particularly negative for me was the double bed with a full-length duvet (this is how new lovers sleep at best ;-)). The pillow as well as the additional pillow available were too firm/hard for my liking. The room was very small and there was only a short hanging rail and two small compartments in the closet, which we initially thought was a refrigerator. Unfortunately it wasn't anyone. The safe could also have been stored here, which we didn't use and which took up one floor as storage space. A kettle and Nespresso machine were available, as was a snack machine on the ground floor. It was already mentioned that only one of two windows had fly screens, but opening the second window was absolutely necessary, despite moderate temperatures (end of May / beginning of June) the room quickly warmed up. The shower was spacious and the water was at a constant temperature. The toilet paper holder “stuck” to the upper arm due to lack of space, so it was a bit tight. Lighting conditions in the bathroom were somehow unfavorable and the ventilation was very loud. You can like painted wallpaper and brown tones of curtains and furniture, but my colors weren't; functional yes, pretty no. Someone else wrote "loveless"... yes, that fits too. Staff is friendly, but there's still something going on ;-). Maybe it was due to the language barrier for one or the other lady. The location of the hotel is great for cycling, hiking and visiting the beach. Unfortunately there is “nothing going on” in the town itself and there are only a few options for eating out on foot. We were there for four days and would have liked to have canceled because the weather was so bad. But it was no longer possible to cancel because the deadline had passed. We still made the best of it. Would visit the hotel again, but then take a larger room. Rooms: Standard room a bit small, cramped and warm, but very clean and functional. The door only ever closes with a loud bang from outside. Food & drinks: Breakfast leaves almost nothing to be desired and the atmosphere is very pleasant.
