Amazing place, highly recommended. Great food ( dinner) & a great buffet for breakfast with a good and variety of quality goods. The hotel is located at a full of green hill with fantastic sea view rooms. Pet friendly also!!!Congratulations to all, owner and employees. Definetely will book again. We stayed here during our last trip to Italy as we drove through the hill towns of Italy and we couldn't have been more impressed. We left Assisi and literally drove through the mountains and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Internazionale, Portonovo. Our lunch was to die for, the absolute best seafood ever of cuttlefish, prawns, mussels, octopus layered in top notch extra extra virgin olive oil. The staff told us they get a little snow showers maybe one or two days a year. I am in love! Our room and bed was very comfortable. Parking was easily accessible. So convenient to nearby Ancona. You are minutes walking distance to the Adriatic Sea, across is sea is the Balkans. A breakfast buffet is included. We look forward to our next stay upon our eventual return. Next time I would like to plan a fishing trip. It's a brisk 10 minute walk to the beach where even the animals and wildlife be a chillin'. Lunch was so good we decided to have dinner here. It was simply an awesome dinner for 2 of risotto with seafood mix including sea bass, prawns, saffron, etc. Tomatoes with basil, The dessert was to die for, with an espresso to finish up the evening. And finally.... Our waiter very proudly told us about the huge wild boar that live in the surrounding mountains down to the beach and many other exotic wild creatures. Tonight with the window open a huge beautiful and colorful moth the size of a small bird flew in all around the restaurant. We watched and marveled how the staff carefully followed and gently captured and released this specimen back outside and closed the window. In tune with nature, with respect for all of God's living things.... its a mindset for a better world and one I totally subscribe to.
