Went here for brunch. Sat at the bar and we had the best old fashion we have had. The espresso martini was one of the best as well. The food was very good too. Bartender was friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend this place.

Stayed for one night on a quick trip. Our room was dirty and the cold water didn’t work in the bathroom sink. Looked like the toilet was leaking prior and they didn’t bother cleaning up the floor around it. The list goes on in terms of the room being dirty, but the real kicker was finding a twizzler on the floor from a previous guest. Sent 3 emails in response to their follow up about the quality of the hotel, our stay, etc. and never heard back. Called and was told we would hear back from management - never did. The hotel is beautiful, no doubt, but our room was not worth the cost of a nights stay in terms of cleanliness and functionality. Service: 1

I cannot rave enough about this hotel. Took the wife for Valentine's Day...1st V-Day out in 20 years and it was a grand slam. The room was gorgeous and comfortable. Clean and well appointed. The only ding was that I ordered champagne to be in the room when we arrived and it wasn't there. However, a quick call to the desk made everything right (thanks Zee!) Dinner at The Order was incredible. Bread service (that sourdough cornbread was out of this world), cocktails were spot on, we went with the crispy mushrooms for an appetizer, wife had scallops and I opted for the ribbon salad. Both were perfect. For the main course, we both had the KC Strip with black truffle jus. I was in heaven from bite 1 through the end. A nice glass of port finished it off. I will DEFINITELY be going back because this experience has added "stay in all the different suites at the Hotel Vandivort" to my bucket list. Service: 5

That sourdough cornbread has a way of stealing the show, and pairing crispy mushrooms, scallops, and a KC Strip with black truffle jus is definitely the right way to celebrate. Ending with port? Perfection. We absolutely love that staying in all the different suites is now on your bucket list — we’ll be ready to help you check them off one by one.
