Stayed at Hotel Scandic Aviacongress during a one day layover. We were too tired to take a taxi or Uber ride 30 minutes to downtown Helsinki for dinner. We decided to settle for the hotel restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised. The crawfish toast skagen was very delicious. I loved the whitefish roa topping. The soups were fresh, tasted home made and delicious. We ordered the artichoke and salmon soup. The entrees were just as tasty. The grilled salmon with roasted vegetables was incredible. The whitefish lavaret was too over fried for my taste but the accompanying vegetables were delicious. Tired travelers will be well pleased with the meals and service at this restaurant.
