Went through the drive thru, gentleman was very friendly and happy. I ordered a gyro and it was huge, packed with a ton of meat! The gyro was delicious. Meal type: Lunch

We must have drove past House of Gyros 20 times before deciding to stop. The main hang up for this adorable food truck was the ever present line wrapping around it. 35 people patiently waiting in a cool drizzly parking lot can't be wrong, right? When we finally had the time, it was absolutely worth it. Everything was so fresh and tender, and we couldn't stop going on about the homemade sauce and amazing bread. There's not many choices here, so you get what you get and don't throw a fit! But I'm telling you, if you want an authentic gyro from a family run truck, you're not going to throw any fits. Unless it's maybe that you didn't order enough of their signature lemon mash up. There is nothing like this sweet/sour refreshing drink that's made from scratch too. And don't let the line fool you, it moves fast, and fills up just as fast. I say do it! Give yourself the time to enjoy this not so hidden Decatur gem, find out why the lines are always full, and everyone leaves happy. Oh yeah, and you want the spicy ketchup.
