BEWARE....DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO HAVE A GOOD TIME!!! I went to the Hackensack location last night, with my husband and a few friends. Of course, LIKE ALWAYS, we had to wait at the bar for like 45 minutes for our table. While we were there we had a drink, which I would think is a normal thing to do while waiting for your table. We ordered a second drink and then we were seated. OK....so far. The waitress kept trying to get us to order our food which was kind of annoying, as we were not in a hurry to eat (and there were empty table surrounding us, so it is not like they needed the table to seat anyone else). Needless to say, we ordered and ate a full dinner, while feeling rushed. During this time frame we ordered another drink....later to find out that we have been CUT OFF. OK, apparently when eating out with friends, over a three hour time frame (between at the bar and at the table) three drinks is the limit?!?!?! WHAT...I am 45 years old, my husband was drinking unsweetened iced tea, and you are cutting me off after three drinks?!?! The waitress would not even let the one other person at the table (who only had ONE drink!!!) order a second drink. She was going through some sort of power trip!! Absolutely RUDE.....and the manager actually agreed with the waitress. We were told "This is a restaurant...not a bar." WHAT?!?! I am still in shock about the whole thing. I have been to MANY restaurants (including ones that are of a higher class than Houstons) and have NEVER EVER experienced such a thing. We received the bill, which was $268, and I proudly left $270.....and quit honestly, she didn't even deserve my two dollars! We left, appalled, and went next door to The Oceanaire, where they were MUCH nicer...and obviously shocked about our experience!! So as I said....if you are looking to enjoy your time with family and friends, DO NOT GO TO HOUSTONS IN HACKENSACK!!!

Fabulous from start to finish. Fabulous waitress, extremely attentive and informative. She pick a fabulous wine for me. Ribs are to die for......desserts are scrumptious.

Have been here for both dinner and lunch. Never disappointed. Excellent wine menu, the crispy chicken sandwich is my "go to" lunch choice, and I love trying new entrees on the dinner menu.
