Clam cakes were saturated in oil, probably cooked in cool oil. We tried to put in toaster oven but no coming back. Chowder ok , clams whole not chopped to my taste.Yuk No phone#

I love a good ole road side stand. Weve stopped here twice now. The clam cakes are HUGE. They were crispy crunchy outside with a soft but dense inside and loaded with clams. Even my picky kiddos loved them. Everything they serve is huge,actually. We tried their fish and chips and clam strip platter. Both so big we couldnt close the large takeout boxes they came in. Fries, coleslaw and tartar are all homemade as well! You dont see that anymore. My only small con is its a little greasy but thats what extra napkins are for right?! We love this stand and will be back very soon. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20

Awesome seafood stacked high on your plate to enjoy for at least 2 meals. Biggest and best clam strips ever!!!! No fishy flavor so very fresh. I'm from Florida and am jealous of the seafood from the Country Chowder Shack. More than worth the stop as this is authentic and not a tourist attraction. Go Here! It is a destination. Quintisential Rhide Island fare at a great price! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20
