Overall nice place. Food menu is not deep and pretty light but is good food. I did expect a little more sauce on my burger but otherwise was delightful and fries were great. The inside looked nice and tavern like and had outdoor seating which we chose. Server was friendly and waited on is well. Price per person: $10–20

Came in tonight, July 17 at 6:45pm. Four booths occupied with 12 total people, One couple sitting at a high-top, 3 guys at the bar. Two couples game in around 7:05. I sat at a high-top. 22 people total in the restaurant including me. I believe 6 people had food. I walked OUT at 7:30pm having not been served. Positives: Bartender worked hard, kept refilling my soft drink so it was full. Nice, personable guy . That’s all the positives. What else? No blender at the bar to make frozen bar drinks. Fryer was broken so no fried fish, wings, etc available. Now, from my seat I could see directly into the kitchen through the glass windows in the door and when the doors swung open. I saw I believe 4 meals come out of the kitchen the entire time. The girl standing right inside the kitchen door in blue sweatshirt stood..STOOD right inside the door sipping from her Yeti insulated cup the entire 45 minutesjust stood there. In 45 minutes I saw 1 waitress bring out one tray of food and the bartender bring out one plate of food. Note: Waitresses should get paid by the mile..they kept walking to the kitchen door either looking through the window or opening the door looking in for finished food to bring out..none.so they’d return to the floorand repeat the walk every 5 minutes. ** Bartender, who’s working hard, returned from kitchen and served a man who’s sitting 5 ft from me at the bar. Bartender apologizes, saying “your food was sitting back there for a while, I believe it’s still ok to eat.” Manager is walking around the entire time, fluffing things and greeting the two couples who came in.nothing more. He spent most of the time standing 10ft from me by the end of the bar. At 7:30pm I flag down the Manager. I ask, “how do I get the job the girl in the blue sweatshirt has?” I tell him I’ve been watching her stand there for 45 minutes doing nothing. He says “She’s the food runner, that’s all she does”. I say she hasn’t done anything for 45 minutes, she never brought out any food. He smirks. I say, “Well, I’m leaving, I’ve waited 45 minutes.” Manager walks away and walks out the entrance doors and goes outside somewhere. I put $5.00 on the table to pay for my $3.00 soft drink and leave. Quite a first time experience. I was actually eating there to decide if I was going to being a birthday party group there on Monday. That’s a big Negative, Ghost Rider!

First time at Howell Tavern order the Fish and Chips portions are large they do not skimp out on the cod like many places do also not very greasy so easy on the stomach, the coleslaw is good, Fries I felt were a bit over done and hollow but overall meal was good and priced well. also great atmosphere! I will be coming back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $10–20 Recommendation for vegetarians: Not sure Vegetarian offerings: Not sure
