Coffee was a bit weak - figured I could fix it with an extra shot of espresso. Asked staff for an extra shot and was willing to pay. I got charged $5 to order a standalone espresso vs the cost of a double shot which is $2.50. Should’ve had them remake it - would’ve saved my wallet and frustration.

We take pride in serving balanced drinks that highlight the coffee, and we’d like to make sure everything is working as it should on our end. Regarding the cost of the extra shot, our system doesn’t allow us to ring in the “Add Shot” modifier on its own without a drink, which is why our barista charged for a standalone double shot. We understand how that could be frustrating, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. We’ll be speaking with our team about this situation and looking into a solution so it doesn’t happen again.

Staff was not friendly or welcoming. I was the first to say hello and was left with a blank stare, like what do you want. Seemed like I was an inconvenience when I walked through the door. The girl at the counter was irritated when I was asking for a certain syrup for my latte. Talk about awkward, paid for my latte and left asap. I guess if I was a regular, I would of been treated a little more differently. I came in as this place has a ton of great reviews!!! I must of came in on a bad day or something

This new location on Wedge Pkwy is amazing and roomy!! I was promptly greeted by staff with a smile and it felt like I’d been coming forever. I had the avocado toast and a latte. I was disappointed that they don’t provide any sugar free syrups, but with that said both my drink and breakfast were amazing!!! I was able to enjoy my breakfast while getting some work done at the same time. Definitely recommend the Hub Coffee Roasters at their new location on Wedge Pkwy.
