We were a little skeptical when we first pulled up. The sign advertising “No Seed Oils,” the weathered exterior, and the nearly empty parking lot had us wondering what to expect. But we are so glad we decided to give it a try! What they mean by “No Seed Oils” is that they cook exclusively with lard and tallow, which was a pleasant surprise. The French fries were easily some of the best homemade fries we’ve ever had—crispy, flavorful, and absolutely unforgettable. I ordered the classic cheeseburger, and it was delicious too! While the outside of the building may not catch your eye, the interior more than makes up for it. It’s a charming, welcoming space filled with fun signs and plenty of character. Overall, this place is absolutely worth a visit. In fact, I’d gladly drive three hours from home just to have those fries again! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Huckleberry's is a smaller diner offering breakfast and lunch choices throughout their service hours. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. Our food was well-made and absolutely delicious!! Will be coming back many times in the future. Price per person: $1–10
