a concern regarding hygiene practices observed at the Sun Plaza branch on 27 May 2026 at approximately 8.20pm. A staff member (a Chinese lady wearing glasses) was seen sweeping the floor prior to serving customers. She then proceeded to take my order and was about to prepare food, including scooping rice, without washing or sanitising her hands. After attending to the order, she resumed sweeping duties. This sequence of actions is concerning, as it reflects poor hygiene practices for a staff member handling food. I hope the management will review the CCTV footage of the incident and provide appropriate guidance and retraining to ensure proper food hygiene standards are consistently maintained. i dont write reviews one usually but then wah this place service is terrible. i order grab and it said ready but when i come and ask this one auntie, she say its not ready very rudely and only 30 minutes later a girl give me my food saying its ready a while already and say sorry sorry. that one rude person i give 1 star. Have always been a regular patron of Hugabo @ Sun Plaza outlet since I'm also living nearby too . My order initially is always the batang sliced fish value soup with rice and additional egg floss . Nowadays I always order the same set , but request to change the soup to Tom Yum flavour instead . Have no issues all these while , until today , 08 Dec 2024 at approximately 1647 hours , when I went there to order and was served by this super rude Indian guy . I had told him that I would like to request to change the soup to Tom Yum flavour . He straightaway replied he has never come across such order before and I told him he could actually check with his colleague cause I've been ordering it all the while and no issues , plus if he wants I could show him pictures as proof . He just simply stood at the cashier and didn't even bother to ask his other female colleague who was also there . Had told him that I come all the way here to place my order , could he do me this favour instead and he showed that unwilling facial expression and of course the way he replies (like want to start a quarrel) plus gave me the receipt after I made payment is rather offensive . Come to order my dinner to take to work but got such lousy service all because of a very rude Staff . Is this how your Staff are being trained to talk to customers in that manner ? Loved the food but customer service definitely needs more room for improvement ! So far your other fellow Staffs whom I've ordered from before have been very friendly .
