Do NOT get there catering service. Recently had my daughters wedding and spent close to $4000. They were giving people 1 to 3 pieces of cashew chicken at a time so it backed up the line and we were stuck with 5 huge trays of leftover broccoli and beef and cashew chicken and 2 huge trays of rice. They came highly recommended but turned out to be a very expensive disappointment. Also they ran out of sauce so we have tons of chicken and no sauce. These are the comments I heard from the guests as I was to busy to eat. Grooms parents didn't even get sauce I guess. Kind of embarrassing for me being father of the bride. Update, I did reach out to customer service and they didn't know what review I was talking about.

I had been wanting to try here out for a while now. My husband and I wanted to grill for us and our daughter, but we ended up disappointed. While the store itself is nice, the produce was getting mushy and had gnats. Also the staff could use some training, especially on the registers. The cashier seemed as though we bothered him choosing his line, and the person bagging our groceries made a mess. Our deviled eggs were turned upside down with the cheesecake on its side. All of the caramel from the cheesecake ran out and got on everything in the bag. I had to wipe everything off before I could put it away. He put all 8 of our glass bottle drinks and sodas in one bag, and our cheese with raw burger meat. I didn't see him bag it because I was bringing the car around for my husband that just recently had surgery and our daughter. If I'd seen it I would have said something. Groceries cost too much for them to be messed up.

It was as though we were transported back in time to another era as we experienced a very enjoyable time shopping today at Hy-Vee... Years ago you could go to the local grocery market and encounter people who actually cared about helping you find what you needed. Until today we thought those places ceased to exist, but when we went into this local Hy-vee grocery store in Springfield, that is exactly what we found. Every employee that we stopped was very willing and able to help us find exactly what we needed. These employees knew their store and knew their customers. Our favorite experience was interacting with Tiffany, and though we had numerous questions about where certain items were, she made sure we felt welcomed and you could see her genuine care about her customers. We will definitely make more grocery shopping trips to this Hy-Vee store.
