I can't remember if I've ever left a review for a place before, but this was an incredibly unimpressive experience. My relative and I went here for breakfast, as the IHOP in my town closed; I had been craving the cinn-a-stack pancakes for a long time. When we got into the restaurant, there was no one to greet us in. I'd like to consider us fairly patient people, but we waited a solid 5 minutes before we sat ourselves. If someone had told us they would seat us in a moment, that'd be one thing, but there was no one. While we waited, we noticed 4 tables had yet to be cleared off, with only 2 other customers seated, both of whom were done with their meal. We waited another few minutes before an employee finally came out and greeted us. Having worked in the food industry, I gave the benefit of the doubt that perhaps they're short-handed. It happens, and sometimes there isn't much you can do about it. Despite being the only customers to have placed an order at the time we came in, it took nearly 20 minutes to get our food, and when we did, neither my relative or I were impressed. I thought I got the wrong amount of pancakes due to them being incredibly flat. My relative barely touched their meal, the eggs had a funky, chemically after taste, and the hash browns looked as if it had been nuked in the microwave. Nothing tasted right. We barely ate our meal. We lamented that we should have just gotten some McGriddles at McDonald's instead. What a disappointing breakfast. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: $10–20
