Iroria is an excellent wine bar in the Asakusa area. I really appreciate the hours (open between the lunch and dinner time) and offers the grand menu at that time. There is a nomihoudai option - which was affordable and had many drink options, but next time, I will opt for one of the many bottles of wine as the white wine on the free pour wasn’t the best. The wine menu looked quite good and the prices were fair. The food was quite good in which I had a particular fondness for the fondue platter. I was so full from the fondue that I barely ate my ravioli, but that, too, was tasty. The smaller snacks like edamame and pickles were great and the scallop skewers were gigantic. Service was excellent. Our bartender and server was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant filled up by 2pm - a mix of gaijin and locals. While busy, every table seemed content as the two staff members ensured quality service for all tables. The atmosphere was cozy with good wine decor. Reservations accepted, but we saw many walk-ins. We were also never rushed and enjoyed a relaxing meal and 2 hours of wine pours. We will be back! Price per person: ¥5,000–6,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
