A quaint little shop tucked away a short distance from the main station. The owner, Sanae-san, is the first generation owner and has been running the humble store since 1983; since Tokyo Disneyland first opened, as I was told! Started off with a highball with the 4-course omakase which was simply prepared yet delightfully pleasant. Thereafter, nothing beats a bottle of sake to chase. In my simple and yet insufficient conversational Japanese, Sanae-san was extremely patient with me. Food was great and conversations aplenty over clinked glasses. Wouldn't have asked for more. Will definitely return when I visit Sendai again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Chef owned restaurant with delicious food and detailed preparation. While maybe not frequented by westerners, we had the set menu and we were able to communicate to learn the dish by translate on our phone. The fried oysters, cod, and shishimi were all well presented. Be prepared to eat everything as presented and enjoy! We had a nice time and highly recommend.
