Service and wait staff were excellent. In fact, if they weren’t so nice I would have just sent all the food back. I travel 16 states for work, so please understand this isn’t the first time I got out of the house. Both our salads were beautiful to look at but mine was very confused on what it wanted to be in life and my wife’s was bland. Basically 3 or 4 drops of dressing. Not much good to say about $70 for two salads and an appetizer. (We drank water) I had the Chop House Sirloin salad which I was excited to eat and then my face turned to horror. A Caesar salad with grilled onions and a very sharp vinaigrette glaze drizzled over it. Sounds interesting but it took me a bit to chase down the villain. The Caesar dressing was horrific and totally clashed in your mouth with the grilled onion and that terrible vinaigrette goop. I singled out some lettuce with just the Caesar dressing and it tasted like it had turned. I literally think it was rotten. I’ve done a balsamic reduction to make glaze before, and this tasted burnt. The other Apple and lettuce salad was just about that. Apple and salad with tomatoes. Wow! Even a little oil and vinegar would be nice. I’m not sure about that steak either, I thought it might be the redeeming part, but not so. It was all so pretty, but yucky. We ate about half at best and no box. Famous fillet was awesome, their rare is about a medium rare to medium. A little disappointing. Ribs were awesome and fell off the bone. Both baked potatoes were cold and didn’t even melt the butter, as you can tell in the pics. Our server kinda forgot about us, but it could be due to us coming around 2:30 pm on a Friday. In all honestly most the food was great. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Famous Filet, Ribs, House Salad

I treated myself out for my birthday and the server Amanda was amazing. I ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes as appetizer, Chops Surf n Turf which is steak n lobster tail w a salad and a squash casserole. So delicious . They gave me a birthday cake and didn't charge me for my appetizer. Amazing place, I would definitely go again when passing thru. I'm a truck driver so I'm glad I took the time to go.
