A golden opportunity missed. The many frequent flyers on this route avoid Illy Express George Airport. I just discovered why over an insipid cappuccino and a limp but pricy toasted sandwich. Though the staff are friendly and the décor pleasant, the food and coffee disappoint at a gourmet price. The greatest concern is that despite an affluent audience with an appetite for healthy foods, vegetarian options and special dietary requirements, the menu is limited, with few options for such tastes. Most disturbingly, a meal labelled as vegetarian includes chicken on closer inspection. This place could do so well if they just listened to their market. But like the frequent flyers, in future I will skip Illy Express. Vegetarian options: Very sparse. With one dish labelled vegetarian containing chicken. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: R 100–150 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2

Service is poor. Cake and tea was great. Took about 20 mins to get it. The waitress could not even wait for us to finish our drinks before bringing the bill and quickly checking if we have paid, while we were still drinking! Meal type: Other Price per person: R 100–150 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
