We enjoyed our last dinner in a Japanese Izakaya tucked away in Minato filled with non-tourists types talking loudly and drinking. Bring your translator for the menu because there is zero English writing, but some of the staff understood a bit of English. We paid with a visa credit card which helped since we spent most of our cash. The interior is pretty small but cozy with one row of tables on one side and bar seating, with interesting traditional looking decor. Food came out fast and hot. Service was attentive and cleared our dishes away quickly. We loved the food - so savory and well seasoned! Plus the biggest, meatiest, and most delicious raw oyster I ever ate.
