This was our first time trying their food and it definitely won't be our last time. The food is Delicious! We ordered Masala Dosa, Chili Chicken, Paneer for dine in. For to go, we got Goat Biryani, Chicken Korma and Khoya/Malai Kulfi. Every single dish was great, no extra oil, no greasy feeling, didn't feel processed food at all. It really felt like I was eating homemade food without cooking. Also, the portion size is great, they gave good amount of meat in the biryani and we were surprised the meat was really soft. It's hard to find a restaurant in Woodbridge, VA which got soft tenderized meat in meat. Also, the service was mind blowing. The lady gave us complimentary Halwa for mother's day! The gentleman was also very polite as he came to check up on us if we actually liked the food, what we need etc. They have huge selection of vegetarian food. Also serves Halal meat so it's a great place for everyone. Definitely we recommend this place and will get our Indian food from here from now on. One of the best hidden gems in Woodbridge. I don't usually eat Indian food but this place definitely made me a big fan. Everything was so good and fresh, and the service was amazing. I ordered the Butter Chicken, rice, and garlic naan and it was all so delicious. I am definitely planning on ordering again! I had a really disappointing experience with Indian Cafe. I placed a phone order at 8:00 PM and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. When I arrived, my food wasn’t ready because the person who took my order never actually placed it. I ended up waiting until 8:45 PM to finally get my food. And unfortunately, it didn’t get any better from there. When I got home, the butter chicken was extremely watery and had no good flavor at all, and the rice tasted stale. For a $50 order, this was completely unacceptable. I called to request a refund, but the owner refused, saying they don’t issue refunds once you’ve paid and left the restaurant. That response, on top of everything else, made the experience even worse. I would not recommend this place. Save your money and go somewhere else. And they’re lying about the system being hacked. The man that took my order on the phone never let them know what I had ordered. And obviously I was frustrated because I had to wait almost an hour for my food which wasn’t even edible. And they are mentioning giving me more food rather than a refund like why would I ever want to try their food ever again. And I will not be removing my honest review.
