This is by far the best Indian restaurant I found in Riga. It’s a little hidden but Google maps helped loads. Eventually finding it on day 2 of our 4 nights stay. We ate here 3 out of the 4 nights we were in Riga. Food was like my mum cooked it, compliments to the chef(s). Waitress Linda was so polite and very smily Thanks guys for feeding us such deliciously yummy food Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €50+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A little oasis as this is what I would call it, especially if you are searching for authentic Indian food in the middle of nowhere where and are home sick. The place is little cute and the food was amazing. The staff are warm and welcoming. Totally worth it. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I recently visited Indian Raja with my family, hoping to enjoy a pleasant dining experience and spend some quality time together. While the restaurant has a nice location (in the heart of Riga), there are a few areas where I believe improvements could enhance the overall experience. Firstly, the seating arrangement made it a bit difficult to get the attention of the staff during the meal. We occasionally had to leave our table to request assistance, which interrupted the dine-in experience. Secondly, as someone who was looking forward to authentic Indian flavors, I personally found the dishes to be milder than expected. This may suit some preferences, but those seeking a more traditional taste might feel differently. Additionally, while the staff were courteous, it would be helpful if they could provide more recommendations such as popular dishes or chef’s specials to guide guests better. I am sharing this feedback with genuine respect and good intentions, hoping it can be helpful for further improvement. Constructive feedback is important for both customers and management to grow together. Thank you! Price per person: €15–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We truly appreciate your kind and constructive approach. We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations, especially when you were hoping to enjoy a relaxed time with your family. Your comments about the seating and difficulty reaching our team are very helpful, and we will review this carefully to improve attentiveness and overall service flow. Regarding the flavors, we understand your point about authenticity and spice levels. We do aim to cater to a wide range of preferences, but we’re always happy to adjust dishes to be more traditional or spicier upon request—your feedback helps us strike a better balance. We also appreciate your suggestion about offering more guidance on menu choices. This is something we can certainly improve so guests feel more confident and excited when ordering. Thank you again for your honest feedback—it means a lot to us and helps us grow. We hope you might consider giving us another chance in the future to provide you with a much better experience.
