Our room was bright and sunny with a balcony overlooking the charming courtyard. The wine bar has an interesting selection of local wines to be enjoyed in the salon, on the veranda, in the courtyard (or in your room). The breakfast is bountiful with eggs cooked to order. We arrived on a Wednesday when there were no restaurants open in Occidental, but we got great recommendations for surrounding towns. Our only quibble is that we could not charge EV because the space was occupied all afternoon an overnight by the same vehicle. A charming spot for a two night stay with access to many wineries and the coast.

This place was fantastic! My girlfriend and I spent New Years Eve at the Inn at Occidental and loved our stay. The room was very comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly. We spent our evening at the wine bar in the lobby, which was a lot of fun. We enjoyed breakfast the next morning and thoroughly enjoyed conversing with the staff throughout our time at the inn. We would both highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in Sonoma County. Service: 5
