So we decided to go to the Island today 4/2/24 very cold, also definitely off season. We walked around the island trying to site see. We wondered into a pizza shop on the main st. We walked in just before 1:30 pm getting out of the cold and grabbing some lunch for our group of 6. The lady(I didn't catch her name) was so welcoming, even though they were closing at 1:30. She didn't make us feel like we were inconvenient at all. She allowed us to order a pizza and cheesy bread and let us sit and eat. She was so nice and inviting! We appreciate you more than you know! Thank you for delicious lunch and very good chili! We will be back, during business hours next him I promise! I've popped in here for a fast bite when I don't want to spend a lot of time eating. You can get anything off the menu and eat it in the building or take it to your room or the park. The pizza is decent and the other items were not too bad. This is basic food, quick and easy. You order at the register, tell them whether it is for there or to go, pay and wait for your name or number to be called. They are open late in season and for 2023 winter, they will be open during the day.

After our hike through Fort Mackinac and over to Arch Rock, we were ready for a late lunch. When we arrived at the place we had chosen, based on reviews, it was closed for a private function. We didn’t have a back-up picked out, so we wandered down main street. Everything looked very crowded and we weren’t sure what we were hungry for. Eventually, we settled for Island Slice Pizzeria, mostly because there was indoor seating available. It was a cute place; nothing fancy. The pizza was decent, not fantastic; typical of what you could find in any mall food court. A little pricey, but to be expected on an island tourist resort. We were satisfied with our meal, quality and timeliness of service, and cleanliness of the place. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
