Our service was terrible. Only 3 other small tables in the place at the time. Waited 20+ minutes for anyone to greet our table or take drink orders. Put in apps with drink orders, another 15-20 minutes for our drinks to arrive. 40 minutes later apps arrived 1 at a time(only 4 ordered total). For a party of 8(6 adults and 2 kids under 7) we were there a total of almost 3 hours, and we did not linger, it took that long for apps and food. One refill on water and that was when I asked, my and my husband’s water were the only to be refilled out of the table.
The bill came, tried to overcharge us $83 for drinks, plus the drinks listed on the tab.
Very inattentive and disappointing. Food was great, but overall experience makes us never want to return.

Service was very slow. Saw some other tables walk out. Food was great but not enough to make up for the complete lack of attention to our table. Doubt we’ll be back.

We were thoughtfully seated away from the entrance on freezing cold New Year’s Eve. This was our third time dining at Issara. The wait staff was attentive and prompt. Cocktails were suggested and we were very happy with the choices (a light Chardonay and a Madame Butterfly). We shared a starter and each chose an entree. Portion size was plenty, delicious flavors blended well, and the food was plated beautifully. The dining area was full with families of all ages, with long tables of several generations and young couples at tables for two. This place is a gem and we look forward to another visit.
