Brilliant bar with such a friendly atmosphere. From the very first time I walked in after moving to Hartlepool from Northampton, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome. It’s a great place to relax, and I’ve even made some lovely friends here. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a warm, welcoming local bar Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

been away from home for 15 years, the first time we came to JP’s bar a few weeks ago we had a warm welcome, we ventured there again today and had the same nice warm welcome, the landlord and landlady are so warm and friendly as well as the regulars, definitely will be our go to place for a few drinks on the marina.. such a nice atmosphere!!! thank you both for making us feel like we are back home x Danya & Gary x

Brilliant pub had a great time here on our wedding anniversary great staff and customers would definitely recommend paying a visit to this pub.cant wait to go back.
