I absolutely love their chowder. It's a pack of flavours, creamy, and the herbs make the chowder so unique and tasty. For a restaurant, this one is one of the best chowders in Vancouver. Fish and chips are equally fantastic. The crunch is perfect. The taste is sumptuous, and the batter is just perfect. The fish is what you see is what you get, won't try to fool you by appearing big because of the batter. The fries comes with it is seasoned with vinegar flavour, which I absolutely adorn. It's a subtle sour zing. You can always ask for just fries with salt if you want a classic approach. The veggies and the tartar sauce that comes with the fish and chips is lovely seasoned too! I've been a fan since day 1, and I'll keep coming back! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$20–30

This is my new favorite place for fish and chips without traveling to Stevenston. Coleslaw had small pieces of apple, salt and vinegar fries were so yummy, large sized. cod had a seasoned batter that was light. Although I was surprised that with the seasoning, it was not more flavorful. Restaurant small so come with a friend but not a big group. Park a block down on side street for free parking. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: V Fries, Bowl of Boston Clam Chowder, Fish Cod and Chips

Took a colleague here for lunch today. Service was great. Very friendly and felt like they truly wanted my feedback. I had the fish and chips which had I known the size of each piece I wouldn’t have needed the second one for lunch. The fries caught me off guard. I’m not a big lover of fries, but the salt and vinegar made these truly some of the best fries I’ve had in a long time. The fish itself was delicious. I know some other reviews criticized the batter. I honestly prefer that it isn’t so thick that I can’t taste the fish. Great flavour and the coleslaw was a nice change up as well. My colleague had the fish tacos. He really enjoyed them and loved the added heat and flavour from the mango hot sauce. I finished off with the toffee pudding which was rich but tasted great. Easily shareable for two as the portion is quite large. Will return again for sure.
