I wish I had a picture but it was too fresh and hot for me to wait. Really enjoy my 2 piece dinner. The breast wasn't dry and the gravy and mash were so good. I will be back and I mean soon. Price per person: USD 1–10 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

They always make sure my food is prepared the way I ask for it. They make the food in a timely manner. The employees are also pleasant. Jack's is one of my favorite restaurants. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: USD 10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This was, without a doubt, the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had at a Jack’s Family Restaurant in Starkville. To be clear, my issue was not with the food. The food is actually good. My problem was entirely with the customer service. I understand that mistakes happen, and if an order is wrong, I’m usually very understanding. Everyone makes mistakes. What happened this time was completely different. I waited an extremely long time for my food without receiving any explanation. When I finally decided I had waited long enough, I asked for a refund. They refused to refund my money, so I left without my food and only with my drink. I ended up losing about $13 and received nothing but a Coke. What disappointed me the most was the staff’s attitude. Instead of trying to fix the situation or showing any concern, they acted unprofessionally and didn’t seem to take my complaint seriously. While I was trying to resolve the issue, they were laughing among themselves, which made the experience even more frustrating. I’m not someone who likes confronting employees, especially when I feel uncomfortable or intimidated, so I chose to leave instead of arguing. Good food cannot make up for poor customer service. I hope management takes this seriously and works on improving the way customers are treated, because experiences like this are the reason people choose not to come back.
