Jaffa Middle Eastern Kitchen is definitely one of the best restaurants in Basalt. If you’re looking for authentic Mediterranean food near Aspen, this place is a must. Everything was incredible. The chicken shawarma bowl was packed with fresh, bold flavors, the hummus was smooth and delicious, and the crispy chicken fingers and fries were a huge hit with our kids. They also have amazing gyros and a menu full of authentic Middle Eastern dishes made with fresh ingredients. We finished with the tiramisu and the carrot cake, and I can honestly say the carrot cake was absolutely out of this world. The restaurant is exceptionally clean, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the customer service is outstanding. Leo made us feel right at home and went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. You can tell he genuinely cares about every guest who walks through the door. We love supporting locally owned businesses, and Jaffa is exactly the kind of restaurant our community needs more of. Whether you’re in Basalt, Aspen, Snowmass, Carbondale, Willits, or anywhere in the Roaring Fork Valley, this is one of the best places for Mediterranean food, gyros, shawarma, hummus, fresh homemade desserts, and friendly service. We’ll absolutely be back and will continue recommending Jaffa Middle Eastern Kitchen to friends, family, clients, and anyone looking for an amazing local restaurant. This place is wonderful! The food was delicious, I was left wanting more of the chicken shawarma pita and the carrot cake!!
