Last Friday, on the occasion of my 30th birthday, I traveled to Hamburg to visit Christoph Rüffer's Haerlin restaurant. The expectations were high and what can I say, they were exceeded right from the start! The atmosphere was very relaxed from the start, the service was super friendly and accommodating and people immediately started talking. The non-alcoholic beverage accompaniment was consistently delicious. In my opinion, this is far too underestimated. The food was fantastic, every single course from the greeting from the kitchen to the petit fours plate at the end was terrific and deserves more than 2 stars!
