This is an incredibly popular sushi restaurant with a very friendly and courteous owner. Whether you dine in or order takeout, the food tastes amazing. I especially recommend the Japanese sushi, which has a wide variety of types and styles. The curry pork cutlet rice is also delicious, and the crispy chicken lunch box is very popular. Plus, the prices are very reasonable, so I can only highly recommend it. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My favourite Japanese place in Manchester! I always get the bento box and some kind of sushi and it’s always great and very affordable. The owner is very kind and takes pride in his cooking. It can get busy at times and sometimes it is only him which can cause wait times but if in doubt, call up and order ahead. I am a frequent visitor (dine in and takeaway) and would highly recommend! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Japan Deli is my favourite local takeaway / eat in spot by a country mile! The staff are beyond lovely, the food is amazing and the prize is very reasonable. The Katsu curry is amazing and warming, and the sushi is always fresh. Highly recommend! Good quality food and sense of community surrounding this shop / owner. Thank you! Japan deli has now been apart of my diet at least once a week now Couldn’t recommend more highly! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
