My friend!!! Shawn es una excelente persona la comida está riquísima!! 10/10 les recomiendo el cordero súper delicioso se derrite en tu boca! No duden en probarlo viajo desde lejos por un platillo

Had to go to a home furniture warehouse up North. While google mapping to look for a place to lunch, chanced upon this small quietly restaurant Jasmin's Indian cuisine. Truly enjoyed our visit. And hence this post . Although it's famous for its goat curry and Yakhni pulaus and biriyanis, we tried a timid bhindi masalaa and paneer butter masala with their signature laccha (flakey) paratha. We were definitely hungry and we loved the food. . You might ask, how do I know so much about them if I had been there for the first time. That's because of Navaid (aka Zeeshan Mahmood), an erstwhile chef and now the proud owner of this small joint, which he runs alongside his wife Guria and their grown-up daughter. He talks, suggests, cooks and makes you comfortable with his unorthodox hospitality and an uncannily spontaneous warmth. . They prepare everything fresh, while the customers talk and listen to music. Their food at once reminds one of the home-cooked meal of the mothers kitchen we had long left and watching the husband and wife team cook and serve (and socialize), the sense of nostalgia just become more and more pronounced. . They cater and can put up live food stalls at events too. I vow to order a half plate of Yahkni pulao ( as per Navaid it's the best) the next time we are having a serious party, for sure. . A native of Karachi Pakistan, with relatives in Bangalore, India, Navaid is trying to create an uncharacteristic warmth, with food and unadulterated, rustic bonhomie in the Bayou City that is definitely worth a try. . Try whatever cuisine you like to, but definitely try it with their laccha paratha. Navaid repeatedly told us that his paratha is really good and after having tested it, I totally second him.
