I was charged for someone else's bill & after 3 months I'm still waiting for a credit!! I was told if I didn't see it in my account after 5 days to call them. I called and was told that the owner, Gus, would call me back. After not hearing back from him, I went into the restaurant. I was told Gus wasn't there & he was the only one authorized to give a refund. Went in a 2nd time and was told Gus & his family were vacationing in Fl and would be back in 2 weeks. On 2/6/17, I went in a 3rd time and was told Gus was in a meeting and couldn't be interrupted. I refused to leave without my refund. The manager flat our refused to help me & gave me excuse after excuse of how she was not going to bother Gus during his "meeting" nor would she look into the matter herself. Then why are you a "manager"? How many times do I need to come back just to be told sorry Gus isn't available? The manager blamed me for not calling ahead & making an appointment with Gus. I need an appointment to get my own money back? How about you investigate the matter from day one and call me back? Even if he wasn't there the 1st time I went in, why not have him look into it when he does get in and call me back. I told the manager that since the funds were taken from my debit card, to call Gus and tell him she was taking $47.62 out of the register for the refund. She said she wasn't going to steal money out of the register. But it's OK for them to steal my money and refuse to give it back to me?? I still can't believe the way I was treated and their flat out refusal to fix the problem right then and there. How many times am I supposed to go there and how much longer do they expect me to wait? This is not how you run a business or treat paying customers. I went straight to my bank and had them file a dispute with Visa. I have filed a complaint with the BBB as well. Unbelievable!

I will never go back! Horrible restaurant to eat at. They screwed up my order and the poor waitress was almost in tears because she was going to have to pay the mistake. I'm pretty darn sure that is illegal. Oh and the rolls did not taste fresh at all. I've heard in the past that they recycle old rolls, and my roll was so stale. I would not suggest this place to my worst enemy.

Never forgive myself. I have been to Jedi's multiple times over the years because it is near my home. I realized when they reopened after their fire a few years ago that quality was headed downhill, and even expressed as much to management. Their response to me was that it wasn't their problem.

Made the mistake of arranging to meet a friend there this week for lunch because she was hungry for soup and I DO like their lemon-rice soup. Rather than sticking to the soup I intended to order, I also ordered a dinner of a country fried steak.

When the entree arrived, the gravy was crusted over on the top of the plate because it had sat so long in the window waiting to be brought out by the server. The mashed potatoes were definitely instant, and the green peas served as a vegetable were straight out of a can; all wrinkly and parched. The gravy was ladled on way too heavily and I had to scrape it off in order to taste the meat at all. I ate one piece of meat and packed the other to take home. Unfortunately, it became sodden even more with the tasteless gravy and I ended up throwing it away.

The best things I had were my cup of lemon rice soup and the cottage cheese I requested instead of a green salad. The rolls served with the soup were warm but once broken open were found to be so dry they were inedible.

When I was paying the check, there seemed to be a discussion among staff going on behind the counter. A woman who I have assumed over the years was the owner was raising her voice and at one point yelling across the entryway to the hostess who was trying to seat a party. I knew better than to object, because they've shot me down mightily before, so I just paid my check and left. There was also quite a bit of shouting going on from the rear service area of the main dining room into the kitchen. A very disconcerting atmosphere for a meal.

Too many chances given, too many times burned.
